Wheeler Farm - Today I went on a preschool field trip with my sweet little Macy. We went to Wheeler Farm, where we visited the smelly chickens, the mangey sheep and the peeing cow (actually the cow was being milked, but Macy still thought it was peeing). A perfect outing for any curious 3 year old.
Parker and the Bee - Last week my Parker was one of 22 finalists in his school's annual Spelling Bee. Before you get too excited, let me tell you that Parker couldn't care less about this spelling bee. I heard from another parent that he had even qualified and then he forgot - twice - to bring the study list home. And if the school hadn't called to remind us about it, we wouldn't have even shown up. He gave it a good effort, but got out on the first round on the word "colloquial" (Sarah, that would be a great word of the day). The kids before and after him got words like 'canary' and 'reptile', but he gets 'colloquial'. It's a good thing he didn't care, I guess.
Which One Part 2 - finally, down to the important question of the day... which purse do you like better? I have been looking for a white summer handbag and these are the two finalists. They are very similar, I know (which is just another sign of my indecisive disorder), but I just need a push one way or the other. Help a sista out... (a special thanks to Aubrey, who wanted to model one for you).

Love the purses. I actually like the second one better, but Joey says he likes the first. When I asked him why he said he likes the one pocket and because it looks smaller. Go figure, he actually has an opinion about things like this.
Blakey actually did fall asleep like that. I don't know how that is even possible. Doesn't your body completely relax when you fall asleep? I guess he is a freak of nature.
I am still shooting for Friday morning. I won't really know what time until Thurs. night. Seeing as I am just one of six, and I don't have my own car, I am just along for the ride. If it works out great, I know you have to get Aubrey to school. Don't worry, I will be there most of July!
I like purse No. 2 better. I have a black purse that is very similar and I love the two pockets on the front. I always put my cell phone in one of them so when it rings I don't have to scrounge through my purse to find it.
Purse #2, I love the pockets, love the ties on the side.
Blogging always wins at my house, which explains the inch deep dust on all my flat surfaces.
Both purses are cute. Since I no longer have to carry diapers/wipes/misc baby items, I always go for the smallest purse that my stuff can fit in nicely.
Blogging always wins...like, I should be vacuuming right now instead of commenting on your blog. Oops.
I love purse #2! It is stylish, yet still large enough for the keys, cell phone, sippy cup and all of the other essentials a Mom needs!
(I should be making dinner instead of commenting on your blog....the "starving" kids will just have to wait!)
ok so i really really like the second one cause the pockets and it's a bit chunkier.
but but.
the littler one is so. . . summer-y looking. like you could put on your big white sunglasses, white shorts and flip flops and go. and it looks like there are enough pockets. . .but are there? it just looks so petite, summery, and fun. not so cargo pockets and i have a lot of stuff in here.
but then again, i'm in college. i haven't taken summer purses 202 yet.
Hi Aly, i vote for the 2nd purse!! And I am very jealous of your 30 hours of heaven. I just want 3 hours at this point!
